Aerosim Flight Academy and Seminole State College Offer Professional Pilots Exclusive Opportunity to Earn an Associate in Arts Degree
SANFORD, Fla. (May 11, 2015) – Aerosim Flight Academy, an accredited global flight school, now offers full-time Certified Flight Instructors (CFI) who have graduated from the Academy’s Professional Pilot Program (PPP) the opportunity to earn a two-year Associate in Arts degree from Seminole State College of Florida at a reduced rate.
Qualified CFI’s are now eligible to receive up to 50 percent off Seminole State’s in-state tuition through Aerosim Flight Academy’s Tuition Reimbursement Program.
“College experience is becoming increasingly appealing to regional and major airlines. Our Tuition Reimbursement Program provides pilots a pathway to earn their certificates and ratings, build flight hours, gain their two-year degree and transition to the airlines in less time than a four-year university. As a benefit of being one of our flight instructors, Aerosim Flight Academy will reimburse up to 50 percent of the in-state tuition for an A.A. Degree from Seminole State College,” explains President and General Manager, Aerosim Flight Academy Hank Coates. “Additionally, through our partnership with the college, graduates of our Professional Pilot Program can transfer up to 25.5 credit hours toward an associate’s degree.”
“Seminole State College is proud to partner with the industry to offer more options in the growing field of aviation,” said Dr. Laura Ross, vice president of academic affairs for Seminole State College. “By offering a tuition reimbursement program, Aerosim Flight Academy provides students with an even more affordable path for their A.A. degree. Plus, they will have the opportunity to continue their studies at Seminole State by pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Technology.”
Additionally, Aerosim Flight Academy is recruiting highly motivated CFI’s with current new hire bonuses and training credits up to $13,000 based on contract commitment and experience. With bases located in Sanford and Jacksonville, Florida, Aerosim provides Part 141 and 61 training from Private through ATP in C-172, SR-20, PA-44, and PA-28R and a King Air C-90 aircraft.
