L3 Airline Academy Offers Two $35,000 Merit Scholarships To Be Awarded to High School Seniors
SANFORD, Fla. (January 4, 2016) – L3 Airline Academy is dedicated to the encouragement and development of future generations of professional pilots. In an effort to further this mission, L3 Airline Academy announces the High School Senior Merit Scholarship program. This program is designed to offer financial assistance to qualified individuals passionate about a career in aviation. Two eligible applicants may be awarded up to $35,000 toward tuition of the Professional Pilot Program at L3 Airline Academy .
High School Senior Merit Scholarship provisions and eligibility requirements are available online. All scholarship applications and supporting documents must be submitted to the L3 Airline Academy Scholarship Committee by April 11, 2016. The final selection of scholarship recipients will be based on essay content, scholastic achievement and extracurricular and community activities.

High School Senior Aviator Expo – January 30
High school seniors and their families are invited to a day of discovery and insight into becoming a professional pilot at L3 Airline Academy on January 30. Guests will learn of the rewarding career opportunities of a commercial pilot, as well as, scholarship opportunities and tuition reimbursement at Seminole State College and scholarships at Everglades University.
Expo admission is free and registration is required.
The expo will be held at L3 Airline Academy , 2700 Flightline Avenue, Sanford, Florida 32773 with a campus tour including visiting the classrooms, Learning Resource Center, flight operations, the flight line, maintenance hangar, plus a demonstration of the flight training simulators.
